Just as Jesus shared the good news with his followers, you too are sharing His role as catechists to His followers of today!  What an important role you play!  When you step before God’s children know that you are representing Jesus and His church.

OLOH takes great pride in our Faith Formation programs and wants quality catechists.  Diocesan guidelines require all catechists to be actively adding to their faith knowledge by participating in faith formation offerings.  We go to great lengths to have on-site offerings and resources so that you can have easy access to them. You can attend for free any bible study or presentations at OLOH.  Please advise your Faith Formation Director when you attend any sessions.

Safe Environment for Children Protocol

PLEASE NOTE: All Faith Formation volunteers must be up-to-date with their VIRTUS certification and fingerprinting!

VIRTUS is the safe environment training program for adults who have regular contact with minors. Attendance is required in order to comply with the USCCB’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. The policy of the Diocese of Camden is that adults will attend VIRTUS training on a regular basis, most can be done from your personal computer.  If you would like to become a volunteer or if you are a current volunteer who would like to check the status of your safe environment status, please contact Mrs. Janice McCann at (856)228-4331 x 103.
